    simplifying radicals

    how do you simplify the radical of 20/16?

    any help would be greatly appreciated..

    Note that \frac{20}{16} = \frac{4 \times 5}{4^2} = \frac{2^2 \times 5}{4^2}.

    Alternatively, note that \frac{20}{16} = \frac{5}{4} = \frac{5}{2^2}.
