60 mph = 1056 in/sec

r = 13 in

$\displaystyle \omega = \frac{v}{r}$

the above equation will get you the angular velocity, $\displaystyle \omega$ , in radians per second ... you'll have to convert it to revolutions per second ... note that there are $\displaystyle 2\pi$ radians in one revolution. - Dec 4th 2008, 03:23 PMJoanieThank You.
