    Hello Bondra,

    Use grouping symbols to clarify your post. I assume you mean this:

    1-\frac{2}{x}=\frac{2}{x+2}

    x(x+2)-2(x+2)=2x

    x^2+2x-2x-4=2x

    x^2-2x-4=0

    Use the quadratic formula to solve when in this form: ax^2+bx+c=0.

    x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}

    Finish up!
