    Exclamation Trig Equations

    Solve tanx = 3 for 180 degrees≤ x ≤ 180 degrees

I only understand when it is 0 degrees ≤ x ≤ 360 degrees. Could someone please show me how it's done for degrees below 0???

Solve for 0 degrees ≤ x ≤ 360 degrees and then subtract integer multiples of pi (the period of tan x) to find solutions for 180 degrees≤ x ≤ 180 degrees.
