Here's the problem...

Decide whether sentence (3) is true if sentences (1) and (2) are both true. Give reasons for your answers.

(1) Everyone who loves Bill loves Sam.
(2) I don't love Sam.
(3) I don't love Bill.

This is a real homework problem that I just can't wrap my brain around.

Any input will help. And thanx in advance!(Rofl)

If (3) were false that is you love bill then by (1) you would love Sam which contradicts (2).

If (3) is true, this is consistent with (1) and (2).
