Consecutive integers are whole numbers that follow one another. For example, 11, 12, and 13 are consecutive integers. If the sum of three consecutive integers is 54, what are the integers? (Hint= x is the first integer)

x + (x+1) + (x+2) = 54

3x + 3 = 54
3x = 51
x = 51/3

x+(x+1)+(x+2)=54
3x+3=54
3x=51
x=17
x+1=18
x+2=19
the numbers are 17,18,19
