Inequalities
This is the question i'm stuck on:
a-|a-|a|| Rewrite this expression without absolute value signs, treating various cases separately where necessary.
a-|a-|a||
When a is negative (ie. a=-k);
-k-|-k-k|
-k-|-2k|
-k-2k=-3k=3a
When a is positive (ie.a=k)
k-|k-|k||
k-|k-k|
k-0=k=a
So when a is negative the expression is just 3a.
When a is positive the expression is a.
I just wanted to know if that's correct. The question before it was a lot more complicated, this one seems too easy to be true.....

Have some confidence, yes its correct.

Thanks again Bobak.
I've been doing so much stuff wrong lately that it's making me freak out (and not in the good way!).
I'll be better in a few days or so.
