    Question Word problem help please

    My teacher gave me some word problems and i dont know how to do them. So if any one could show me how to solve the following problem that would be great and you would be my hero


    question=
    (five times a number added to three times the same number is equal to the 56 greater than the number. find the number)

    ps. please help and thank you for your time

    5n + 3n = 56 + n

    solve for n
