Thread: Finding the Volume of a Cylinder

Hello Everyone!

I was wondering if I calculated this problem right.

Diameter of Cylinder
1.580cm

Height of Cylinder
2.140cm

Heres the formula I used: V=π x radius squared x Height

Heres how I started the problem

V= 3.14 x .79(squared) x 2.140 = 4.19370236cm3

V = 4,194cm3 ? Not really sure if thats right

radius is squared, not diameter.

Oh! I must have copied the formula down wrong.
