Thread: How do you draw a line of best fit?

I have drawn my graph and plotted my points. I have also found the mean-mean point. How do I hand draw a line of best fit (linear regression I think is the math name)? I know it has to go through the mean-mean point?

Part of the difficulty I see is that you ahve provided 12 terperatures, but only 10 chirp counts. How did you get a mean out of that?

If you have your correlation coefficient, you should be able to find the slope of the line and use that slope and mean-mean point, along with the point-slope form of a line, and graph the line with ease.
