    volume of a sphere

    the surface of a sphere is 16pi. find the volume....... can someone please show the steps it has been awhile since ive done this

    All you need is a little algebra and a couple of formulas. You CAN be expected to know these for an exam.

    Sphere Volume = \frac{4}{3}\pi r^{3}

    Sphere Surface Area = 4\pi r^{2}

    Use the given information to find r.

    Calculate the Volume.
