    Dividing without a calculator

OK, this is something I should definitely know, but I don't and I can't work it out

Can anyone remind me how to divide without using a calculator?

For example, if I need to divide 15/20.

    Thanks in advance.

I think I understand it as far as that actually.

My problem is that I require a decimal number as the result rather than the remainder.

    How do I achieve this?
