    Can someone help me in equation form with the following question?

    Why then did someone else I know personally think the answer was -0.2958 ?

    Because they tought,
    \tan^{-1}=\frac{1}{\tan x}
    And they calculated it via radian mode.
    Thus, that would do it.



    (But I am right because this problem concers inverse tangent function)
