    Unhappy Determine The X-intercept

    DETERMINE THE X-INTERCEPT OF:

    y=loga (x-d)





    IN TERMS OF A & D


    i dont know how to find the x intercept in equations with Log...

    Well the x intercept is when y = 0.

    So what value of x corresponds to
    log_a(x - d) = 0

    a^{log_a(x - d)} = a^0

    x - d = 1

    x = d + 1
