    i need help!!

    the roots of the equation


    x² = p
    ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
    4-x

    are equal (i.e. b² -4ac = 0). find the values of p

    I presume you mean:
    \frac{x^2}{4-x}=p

    So
    x^2=p(4-x)
    x^2+px-4p=0

    b^2-4ac=0 so:
    p^2-4(-4p)=0
    p(p+16)=0

    So p=0 or p=-16.
