Hello Everyone.

I am looking for help with a Venn Diagram that uses 3 sets and a Universal Set. I missed this lecture due to having to take my daughter to a Dr. appointment and I am completely lost. I read the book over and over and still can't figure it out completely. Your help will greatly be appreciated. Here is the problem:

Draw a Venn Diagram for the sets:

U= (This is the universal set) {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,13,21,34,55,89,144}

A= {1,2,3,4,5,8,13,89}

B= {2,4,6,7,8,10,34}

C= {1,3,5,6,8,9,55,144}

I believe I should be drawing a Venn diagram inside a rectangle with a U in the corner for the universal set. I am unsure of what areas I need to shade in the Venn diagram and also if I need to do something about the fact that none of the sets contain #21 that is in the universal set.

After this part there are three more parts to this question.

Determine and state:

(( A n C ) U B ) = ( there is also a small line over B - )

Determine and state:

______

(B U C ) n A = ( there is also a small line over the A - )

Which two sets are equivalent but not equal? Please explain by showing a one to one correspondence between those sets.

I have no idea what this means and I have to turn it in today. So any help you can give me I would really appreciate it. Also I would love an explaination so I can try to understand what this all means. Thank you so much.
