Thread: Patterns and Numbers HELP?!?!

Hi

I have these numbers and they are suppose to have a pattern but I cant seem to figure it out.

1) 0,4,8,21,52,65

2) 15,26,40,16,37,58

3) 5,2,6,3,9,6


Any help and explanation would be greatly appreciated

I was able to get help for the first pattern however, the last 2 didnt have any solution so I am still stuck.

Can any1 else help me????

If the mathematicians at the Bell Labs cannot solve it, then I doubt that most of us can.

There are, of course, really an infinite number of possibilities, but I have come up with a pattern for this last one:
Start with 5.
Subtract 3.
Add 4
Subtract 3.
Add 6
Subtract 3.

So I would say that the next two lines would be
Add 8
Subtract 3.

Then
Add 10
Subtract 3.

etc.
