    Weekly Math Questions

I think it is fair for me to make known the following information concerning my textbook questions. Every question here is posted after and only after trying to solve each one on my own. I solve 30 weekly questions. Out of 30, I typically get about 21 or 22 right (depending on the level of difficulty).

I am not some nut job searching through my textbooks for
random questions because I have nothing better to do. I am a self-study math guy about to be 54 years old in April. My student days ended in 1994.

After completing a good review of algebra, I am going to study calculus 1, 2, and 3, hopefully with the help of this great site. This is my goal. This is my desire. What else is a man my age expected to do? Feed pigeons at the park? Dating? Nobody wants to date me. A sad reality for a lot of middle aged people.

Don't I always show my work per post? The only questions that I cannot show my work for are those found in the CHALLENGE section at the end of each chapter. Most of the CHALLENGE questions are above my mathematical skills, if any. However, the author(s) expect students to use chapter ideas to tackle difficult questions.
