Hi all!

I have a vehicle of assumed weight 2.3 tonnes

I have an electric motor of 48v

A gearbox which is 6.04:1 ratio

I have attached the drive to a standard vehicle differential and axle at the rear of the vehicle (some models will be front wheel driven not sure of the impact of this)

I need to drive the car up a ramp into a transporter at an angle of up to 20 degrees.

what is the calculation to prove that the drivetrain can achieve this? Or not perhaps - and what elements need to change - assuming the motor and gearbox specification are fixed. (at least for now)
