O Level and A level maths revision books

    Hi,

I want to progress my maths knowledge by maybe doing a degree in it but that last time I did anything with maths was 20 years ago. Could someone recommend a good series of books that will go from basic maths level (o level) to more advanced level (a level) enabling me to revise and get up to speed before doing a university course?

My schooling was in the UK so need UK based books.

    Thanks in advance.

Focus on pre-calculus, calculus of a single variable and the basic facts of determinants and matrix algebra.

Thanks for your suggestions. Books ordered, all that is left to do is read and understand. Thanks again.
