    General mathematics question - Hours to Fill equation

    A trapezoidal Prism has a base of 16m2, height of 3m and top length of 8m.

    a. find the length of the base = I am guessing its 4
    b.find the area of the cross section
    c. find the capacity - guess its 72000 litres
    d. water flows at a rate of 25L/min. how many hours = guessed 48 hours
    e. (urgent one) the shape was filled to a depth of 1.5m and the surface area was 24m2. How many hours did it take to fill to a depth of 1.5m?

    (e) based on all your guesses, I'm guessing 20 hours.

    here is a diagram made from what I interpreted from your "guesses". My assumption is the bottom is a square ... of course, there is that old saying about the word "ASSUME"

    were you given a diagram to work with?
