    [SOLVED] Fraction

    How can i work out the simplest form of this fraction:

    8976/24576

    I know the answer equals 187/512 except i am unsure of an easy way on how to get to this answer.

    Appreciative of any help that can be given.

    well, the numbers are even, so you can start by trying to divide 2 into each, or 4 or 6, all work here. take your time and keep braking it down by looking for common factors to divide through by. do you get it?
