You need to be reasonably comfortable with polynomial functions, trig functions, conic sections, logs, exponents, and polar coordinates.
Yes, an A- in pre-Calculus is pretty good. The fact that it was 21 years ago, not so much!
If you are at all0 unsure, retake it. That's better than taking the Calculus course, failing it and then having to take both Pre-Calculus and Calculus.
