## Re: Please help mex

It's not all that hard to write that out: you are asking about 1/(4- 3/(2+ x/(1- x)))

(In Latex, that is $\displaystyle \frac{1}{4- \frac{3}{2+ \frac{x}{1- x}}}$.)

Start at the "inside" and work your way out:

$\displaystyle 2+ \frac{x}{1- x}= \frac{2(1- x)}{1- x}+ \frac{x}{1- x}= \frac{2- 2x+ x}{1- x}= \frac{2- x}{1- x}$

And 3 over that is $\displaystyle \frac{3}{1}\frac{1- x}{2- x}= \frac{3- 3x}{2- x}$.

What is $\displaystyle 4- \frac{3- 3x}{2- x}$?
