    Simply DNA question

I know this maybe simple buy the bases like Adenine and Thymine, are they used to create proteins that define us as human beings? Like I have seen something Like AGU ATG... they are the purines and pyrimidines, but I am not sure what the actual purpose is.

    Thank you!

    Re: Simply DNA question

    Hey sakonpure6.

Computationally you might want to think of it in terms of computer code and information in the same way that computer code and information is represented by 1's and 0's on a hard disk or USB stick.

In terms of the Von Neumann style of computer (like the one used to post your message), data and code are considered to be just information and the only thing that separates them in any way is how it is interpreted at the time.
