    ratio simplified??

    I need to know the ratio of students who pass a test and those who fail it does not matter about the numbers just the model showing the ratio I will make sum numbers up total students( 532) 476 pass 56 fail I need to simplify the ratio as far as possible any models used for future use from a kind fellow would be greatly appreciated in the forum and by myself please could some one give a diagram or a link to the method

    One way is that out of 532 students 476 pass so we have 476/532 as the ratio of pass students.
    This can also be reduced to percentage by multiplying by 100.
