Finding an angle using numerical methods.
Two small spheres of mass 10 g are suspended from a common point by threads of lenght 50 cm. Find the angle made by either thread with the vertical when each sphere carries a charge of 2 μC by (a) using the small angle approximation sin(theta)=tan(theta) and (b) using numerical methods.
I already solved part (a), however I don't understand what they mean by solving it with numerical methods. :confused:

Numerical methods refer to a set of methods that find solutions to problems using numerical schemes.
Examples include finding the roots of generic functions (like e^x + 2xe^x^2 = 0 where we find x) and finding solutions to differential equations as well as calculating integrals.
