    Chemistry Dilution problem! Please Help!

    You have determined that the concentration of HCL is 0.870ml/L. How would you prepare 2.00L of the solution from a stock solution of HCL with a concentration of 11.8 ml/L?

    Please help me!

    2*0.87 mol /l = mols HCL required
    2*0.87 = xliter*11.8

    x=0.147 liter
