in the x-direction ...

force component left = force component right

$T\cos{\theta} = 4$

solve for $T$

but i got 0.3 kg as the mass where it should be 0.8kg?

in the y-direction ...

forces up = forces down

$T + T\sin{\theta} = Mg$

why did u add T to Tsintheta T is not a vertical force it is diagonal any justification for that
