Defining sets
Hi

{0,1} defines the set containing 0 and 1

What does {0,1}3 mean?

If v is an element of {0,1}3 does it mean v can have any one of the following values:

[000][100][010][110][001][101][011][111]

Re: Defining sets
Yes, probably it means $\{0,1\}^3= \{0,1\} \times \{0,1\} \times \{0,1\} = \{(a,b,c)| a,b,c \in \{0,1\}\}$
