Thread: Impact Speed?

What is the impact speed when a car mov-
ing at 100 km=h bumps into the rear of an-
other car traveling in the same direction at
93 km=h? Answer in units of km=h.

I'm not sure what impact speed is or how to calculate it. If I had to guess my answer would be 96.5 km/h, but I have to submit my answers online and I don't want to get a bunch wrong because I'll lose points

The answer was 7km/h.

The problem was referring to relative motion I guess, and the difference was 7km/h. What a silly way to word it

i thought so, but i didn't want to say anything (i know nothing about Physics)
