    boats acceleration

Theres a boat that has a mass of 6800 kg.
Its engines generate a drive force of 4400 N, due west,
while the wind exerts a force of 770 N, due east,
now the water exerts a resistive force of 1200 N due east.

What is the magnitude and direction of the boat's acceleration?
must be in meters per second^2

    also need the direction too.

Net force is 4400-770-1200 = 2430N due west.

    So now find the acceleration.
