    Linear expressions help needed!

    I need to find the x and y-intercepts of the following ( I do not understand how to do this, please show me the full steps for these, so that i can see what i am doing wrong) Thank you;

    a. y=4x-8

    b. 3x-2y+6=0


    Please show full steps! thank you!

    Hey cheers.

    A y-intercept occurs when x = 0 and an x-intercept occurs when y = 0.

    If you let y = 0 for each equation, what do you get for x? Similarly if you let x = 0 for each equation, what do you get for that corresponding y value?
