I have tried my best to solve these, working answers that are posted would be appreciated!! I want to see where im going wrong, if you could post your work it would be awesome.

1) -1/25d(d-40)

- What are the d intercepts?
- Find the vertex
- Write the function in standard form

2) h= -3/144(d-96)(d+96)

- What are the d intercepts?
- Find the vertex
- Write the function in standard form

3) y= 1/10x^2-2x

- What are the x intercepts

why don't you post what you have done with each of these?

1) -1/25d(d-40)

- What are the d intercepts?
0 or 40
- Find the vertex
40/2 =20
D=20
h=-1/25d(d-40)
=-1/25(20)(20-40)
=-0.8(-20)
=16
VERTEX= (20,16)
- Write the function in standard form

Thats as far as i got :C

d = 0 or d = 40 ok
- Find the vertex
40/2 =20
D=20
h=-1/25d(d-40)
=-1/25(20)(20-40)
=-0.8(-20)
=16
VERTEX= (20,16) ... ok
- Write the function in standard form

y = -1/25(d-20)^2 + 16

2) h= -3/144(d-96)(d+96)

- What are the d intercepts? how about d = 96 and d = -96 ? why?
- Find the vertex ... midway between the intercepts, right?
- Write the function in standard form

3) y= 1/10x^2-2x

y = (1/10) x(x - 20)

- What are the x intercepts find them now?
