Thread: Should I buy maths books to teach myself maths.

Do you think the math books this site sells would be good for basic learning of every type of Math the books have to offer? Let's say I'm a beginner and I don't know anything about Geometry. Would the book do a great deal of explaining how to do it all and understand it?

There are plenty of free resources, so without following the link, I can simply suggest that you pursue free options.
Khanacademy.com has a lot of resources.

It depends on the person and their circumstances. Since we know nothing of either, an informed opinion cannot be given.

My advice - go to a library, borrow some books and see how it goes.
