Hello everyone,
my question is;
Is \mathrm{CH}_3\mathrm{COCOOH} ( which is pyruvic acid) iodoform positive?

Every document I've seen on iodoform reaction says \mathrm{R}-\mathrm{CO}-\mathrm{CH}_3 is iodoform positive, when R is H, alkyl, or aryl. I'd like to know what happens if R is COOH.

Thanks in advance.
