# Iodoform reaction where R is COOH

Is $\mathrm{CH}_3\mathrm{COCOOH}$ ( which is pyruvic acid) iodoform positive?
Every document I've seen on iodoform reaction says $\mathrm{R}-\mathrm{CO}-\mathrm{CH}_3$ is iodoform positive, when R is H, alkyl, or aryl. I'd like to know what happens if R is COOH.
