Stuck on formula
The amount of heat energy Q required to melt ice is directly proportional to the mass(m) of ice which is melted. If it takes 3.35 X10^5 J to melt 1000 g of ice, how much heat is required to melt 625G???

Not sure which formula to go about this, as this pertains to thermo???

Re: Stuck on formula
$\displaystyle Q \propto m \implies Q=km$

solve for $k$ using $Q= 3.35 \times 10^5 , m=1000$
