Particle of mass, calculate change in K.E.?

a particle of mass 3kg collides another particle of 2kg, their initial velocities are u1= 2i + 1.5j and u2 = 0.25i + 0.8j just before impact. After collision, they both merged and becomes a composite particle, which travel with a velocity of V= 0.6i + 0.7j

    calculate the change in K.E.

thanks in advance, I am lost..............

    \Delta E_K = \frac{1}{2}(m_1+m_2)|v|^2 - \left[\frac{1}{2}m_1|u_1|^2 + \frac{1}{2}m_2|u_2|^2\right]
