Thread: Stress, Strain and the Factor of Safety

Hi, I have completed a question on Stress, Strain and the Factor of Safety, I was hoping someone was able to look over it and let me know if I've got anything wrong (sorry about it being an attached pdf).

I'm sure I've done at least one thing wrong, such as not including the weight of the tube itself under the tensile stress. If that is the case, I have no idea how to obtain it's weight.
