Thread: How to find the horizontal displacement when only the angle given?is that possible?

object is projected with a V m/s velocity.its maximum horizontal range is 2h.Also what is the horizontal range when projected angle is (|)30 degrees (||) 60 degrees?

fine.it can be done.
x=v²sin 2Θ/g
because 2h is maximum,its angle has to be 45.
so Θ=45
x=v²/g
2h=v²/10
v=√20h

But! How am I supposed to Find the velocity when only the angle is given like that?????
it can't be same V as before because that V is for 45 degree angle,right?
help!

yes you have to take it V for 30 and 60... otherwise the question is incomplete.
