How many times do the hands of a clock coincide in a day? I assumed it to be $\displaystyle 23$ times. Am i correct? But it is given as $\displaystyle 22$in its answer.

At the lower end of sophistication, I suggest you draw clocks with coinciding hands, starting with 1.06 AM (or thereabouts).

The best way is: Take a clock, revolve its two hands, count the number of times they coincide. It will help you understand your mistake.
