Thread: a painting is held between 2 cables...find the tension in each cable

a 100 newton painting is held by 2 cables. they are at a angle of 80 and 70 to the horizontal

please show steps to the solution....
its the only type of question that i still not confident about my test...please help....

What have you tried? Where are you stuck?

Draw a force diagram. Then either resolve forces in vertical and horizontal directions etc., or use Lami's Theorem.
