Math Help - Is the subset relationship transitive?

    Is the subset relationship transitive?

    If A is a subset of B, and B is a subset of C, then is A a subset of C?

    Really simple i know.. but Im not good a math, but i want to be.. so if i dont understand one little thing it really tugs at my brain :P

    This is a geometry question...?

    Lets start with definitions. What does it mean to be a subset? To say A is a subset of B is to say what?
