how would you solve for the x,y and z degree? any help is appreciated. thank you.
Use the following theorems,
$\displaystyle 2x+5=x+z$ (1)
$\displaystyle 2x-5=x+y$ (2)
Add these equations,
$\displaystyle 4x=2x+y+z$
Subtract by $\displaystyle 2x$,
$\displaystyle 2x=y+z$
But,
$\displaystyle x+y+z=180$
Thus, (substitute)
$\displaystyle x+2x=3x=180$
Thus,$\displaystyle x=60$
Thus, in the first equation,
$\displaystyle 120+5=60+z,z=65$
Thus,in the second equation,
$\displaystyle 120-5=60+y,y=55$
Thus, $\displaystyle (x,y,z)=(60,55,65)$
