    Hello, vegito12!

    \text{Simplifying }\, \$2 : 50\rlap{/}c

    \text{Is it }\,0:1 \;? . How did you get a zero?

    \text{(Two dollars)}:\text{(50 cents)} \;=\;\text{(200 cents)}:\text{(50 cents)} \;=\;4:1
