    Force and acceleration question

What is the net force needed to accelerate a 5800g object 6.2 ms-2 ?
    Force (N) = mass (kg) x acceleration (ms-2)

    I got
    5800g to kg = 5.8 F= ma = 5.8 x 6.2 =35.96 N
