Ratio Problem
C had 3 out of 5 of 20 items required to start the school year.What fraction of the number of items he was lacking ?

i get 2/5.Is it right ?

Yes. (Although the question may well want you to calculate 2/5 of 20 as the answer ....)

If the ratio of Saturated to unsaturated fatty acids in a cell membrane is 9 to 1 and there are a total of 69 billion fatty acids molecules.How many of them are saturated ?

9/10 *69=62.1 billion.

is it right ?

is there any calculation required for the 1st question ?
As i didn't do any calculation to get to the answer.it was simple.
I will post in new thread from next time
