    3. If the bob shown in Figure 6.5b) (see attached) has an amplitude of 4.0cm, how far does it travel during 6.0 cycles?

    What does the 30 degrees even mean? Is this diagram supposed to represent the bob's travel in 3Dimensions or 2Dimensions? I'm confused with what the difference between an amplitude and cycle is.

    one cycle ... 4 amplitudes = 4(4cm)
