    [SOLVED] finding angular acceleration

    A cyclist accelerates uniformly from rest. After 8.0s the wheels have rotated 3 rev. What is the angular acceleration of the wheels?

    Answer: 0.59rad/s^2

    this is what I did: \theta = \theta_o +\omega_o t + \frac{1}{2} \alpha t^2 \Leftrightarrow \alpha=\frac{2\theta}{t^2}=\frac{2(3(2\pi)))}{(8s) ^2}

    stupid me I forgot one of the 2xPi
